As a design studio with a goodly amount of contractors, our focus tended to be directed at other people’s needs instead of our own. There is a direct reason of course: we don’t pay ourselves for our own website. As a young company we have been forced to prioritize cold cash on occasion, so we can afford essentials such as coffee, Adobe Creative Suite 4, and rent.
But as a fair share of our customers has also realized, it pays to have a website, a logo, a style. And our lack in some of these is being remedied right now!
The whole experience of creating a logo and personal style has opened our eyes. Creating something we are happy with is infinitely harder then creating something someone else is happy with. We already were sticklers for perfection but this is a whole new dimension. The paper spend sketching is the equivalent of a small forest and still we haven’t run out of ideas. Luckily, we managed to put the brakes on and have winnowed through them all. So expect a final result on a website near you, soon!
In the mean time, we’re also working on a website for a smith. A real, good old fashioned smith. How cool is that?
